The state of New Jersey mandates Holocaust education. Young Audiences collaborated with the George Street Playhouse to commission a moving play about Holocaust victims. Video footage of interviews with two survivors weaves artfully through a dramatic interpretation of the experiences of Anne Frank's boyfriend and the girl who would have been her step sister if Frank had survived. The performance is followed by workshops that place students in some of the ethical dilemmas posed by the play. An extensive lesson guide is made available to teachers.
